Having now entered national lockdwown although communal worship is permitted we have made the  decision  to hold our main 10.30am Service online via Zoom.   
We will however be holding an earlier Holy Communion Said Service at 9am each week in the Church. 


For the foreseeable future the service structure will be therefore:
9am Said Holy Communion in Church
10.30am Morning Worship via Zoom with music.

St James' Church Poole takes its responsibilities surrounding the safeguarding of children, young people, and adults who may be at risk very seriously, and works in partnership with the Diocese of Salisbury to ensure that we work in accordance with best practice at all times.

Alternatively you can contact the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisors,  ​Suzy Futcher works 9am-5pm, Monday-Thursday inclusive. Suzy is the first point of contact for urgent safeguarding advice from 9am-9pm on Mondays and Tuesdays and from 9am until 12pm on a Wednesday (via mob 07500 664800), 
Jem Carter works 9am-5pm Tuesday-Friday inclusive.  He is also available on an ‘on call’ basis until 9pm on Wednesday and Thursday evenings (via mobile 07469 857888).
An external Safeguarding service provider ‘thirtyone:eight’ provides out of hours cover from 5pm on a Friday until 8am the following Monday – Tel 0303 0031111 (24/7)
